Catching up with Elia

Sorry for the delay in posting! Lots to catch up on with baby Elia!

So in mid-July we headed to OBX with the Josephs for another beach adventure. Elia is one lucky girl to hang out at the beach twice in her first summer of life! She had a great time, although she was pretty insistent on taking her naps at the house, not on the beach. She loved the pool too which is a step up from the first time she tried it and looked like this:
Elia in the pool at age 2 1/2 months--not a happy camper.
Overall the beach trip was a huge success, and we all enjoyed the time with family. Here are some pictures!
Bryan and I got to go kayaking for our anniversary. Thanks for babysitting, family!

Beach snuggles!

We loved our little baby tent (even though it's so hard to fold up!)

Relaxing!

Love this face!

Margie took this great family photo of us!

After the beach we headed across Virginia to attend the wedding of Zachary and Hannah. It was a beautiful wedding and we loved seeing our dear friends FINALLY tie the knot after 4 years of engagement. Elia had fun seeing Memaw and attending the wedding (although she spent the ceremony in the cry room!).
This is one of my favorite pictures of Elia and Bryan so far!

She had fun meeting our college friends, including Philp Tan (he's a baby holding pro as he has 10 younger siblings!)
Since being back in Ohio, Elia has enjoyed more solid foods, learned to roll over, and now uses her exersaucer daily! It's so fun to watch her grow and change so quickly!
Peas!

Playing like a big girl in her exersaucer!
I will do my best to post more regularly now that we're back home for a bit! Love to you all!
